Livingston Taylor (born November 21, 1950) is an American singer-songwriter and folk musician. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, he is the brother of singer-songwriter James Taylor, singer-songwriter Kate Taylor, musician Alex Taylor (d. 1993), and innkeeper and singer Hugh Taylor. With a career reaching the fifty-year mark in 2017, Taylor is most notable for his Billboard hits I Will Be In Love With You, First Time Love, and I’ll Come Running.

Livingston Taylor is singer-songwriter Livingston Taylor's first album, released in 1970. Its eleven tracks include ten of Taylor's own compositions, and one cover version of the Earl Greene and Carl Montgomery country standard "Six Days on the Road". The album contains the song "Carolina Day", an original, personal song that helped set the tone for Taylor's intimate, laid-back musical style. Livingston Taylor peaked at number 82 on the Billboard charts.

Quite nice early Livingston Taylor album. Mostly acoustic with an occasional band playing softly and a few more rocky songs. This is a bit complicated and you need to concentrate and dig this type of music. Fact is Liv was only 20-years-old when he did this and that's somewhat remarkable. This album has longevity that's a plus. 4/5. 답글 나에게 알림 Helpful. Liv's voice is not that developed yet - that might put off some people. It's quite melodic actually and a good example of 70's songwriter style. Reply Notify me Helpful.
